Beverli Mormile, Psy.D.
Beverli Mormile is a licensed psychologist who specializes in adult and adolescent clinical and forensic assessments. Dr. Mormile completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Florida Atlantic University; and completed postgraduate studies, including a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in Forensic assessment from Albizu University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Mormile provides assessment and psychotheraputic treatment for adults, adolescents and children. Evaluations, consultation and expert testimony is provided in civil, criminal, and family law cases.
Marissa Kaplan, Psy.D.
Dr. Kaplan is a licensed psychologist who specializes psychoeducational assessment, adult forensic assessment, child and adult psychotherapy, and group therapy. She graduated from Harvard University with a Master’s Degree in Education, with a specialization in Childhood Risk and Prevention; and subsequently completed her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 at Loyola University Maryland. Dr. Kaplan specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy; and has specialized training in providing therapy with the chronically mentally ill populations.
Carla Rhodes, Psy.D.
Dr. Rhodes is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who graduated from George Washington University with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). She also holds a Master’s degree in General Psychology. Dr. Rhodes comes with a wealth of experience in individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment, DSM-5 diagnosis, diagnostic interviewing, behavior modification training, group facilitation, case management, life skills training, teaching, and outreach services. She has experience working with a number of populations including at-risk youth, adults and adolescents with mental illness, adults with intellectual disabilities and cognitive impairment, substance use disorders, and HIV/AIDS.
Kristen Simpson, M.S., RPA
Ms. Simpson is a registered Psychology Associate who has been providing psychotherapy for over 8 years. She completed her Master’s Degree at Madonna University in Michigan. Ms. Simpson has worked with a variety of individuals; specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Her formal training was in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory, and she later completed a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. This allows for eclectic technique to be able to tailor the therapy to what best suits your individual needs.
Tiffani Dilworth, LCPC
Mr. Sonnenschein received his Masters of Science degree from Loyola University in Clinical Counseling. He has significant experience working with individuals, couples and families. As a certified trauma specialist he achieved the highest level of trauma training at the Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy Training and Education, Inc. He has advanced certification in couples and family therapy. His approach to therapy is to provide clarity for the client, to empower them to grow and achieve maximum potential. Therapy is about providing the dignity of space where clients can express themselves, feel listened to and where they can find hope. This is achieved by partnering with them on their journey as they navigate to reach this quest. Every client is unique, so must therapeutic modalities be tailored to maximize success. He has extensive training in Cognitive Behavior, Psychodynamic, and Positive Psychology, Gottman Couples, Imago, Family Systems and specialized training in expressive and creative therapies. Mindfulness, guided imagery have proven to be successful approaches working with anxiety, depression and trauma.
Ms. Young is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Her areas of interest and experience includes mood disorders, anxiety disorders, domestic violence, gaming addiction and eating disorders. She is certified in mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. She believes her role as a clinician is to teach clients to become their own therapist. She works from a client centered approach, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
Kathy Nguyen, LGPC
Ms. Nguyen is a licensed graduate professional counselor who graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. She works with adults and children specializing in trauma and cognitive behavioral interventions. Kathy completed her undergraduate degree at the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, MA with a specialization in
Women & Gender Studies. She speaks English and fluent Vietnamese (written and oral). She completed her internship at Ho Chi Minh City Psychiatric Hospital in Vietnam; and conducted a research project on gender relations of mental illness in contemporary Vietnam.
Nichole Harris, PsyD
Dr. Nichole Harris graduated from the American School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University) in Washington, DC. Her theoretical orientation integrates psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral theories to assist clients with addressing past and present challenges. Dr. Harris also incorporates interpersonal, behavioral, and mindfulness techniques to achieve both quick symptom relief as well as long-lasting, meaningful change.
Jaime Richardson, LMSW
Ms. Richardson completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Maryland. She has experience working with clients who are diagnosed with ADHD, trauma, grief, school-related issues, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and behavioral struggles. Ms. Richardson utilizes play therapy techniques with children and teaches mindfulness to all clients using meditation and creativity. She uses a client-centered approach based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients to identify and achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.
Stacey Duncan-Grace, MS, RPA
Ms. Duncan-Grace completed her Master’s of Science in Psychology at the University of Phoenix. Ms. Duncan-Grace incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered therapy, and Harm Reduction as part of her therapeutic model; along with play therapy with children and adolescents. Ms. Duncan-Grace previously worked in the Baltimore City School system for more than 15 years.
