Beverli Mormile, PsyD
Dr. Mormile is a licensed psychologist who specializes in adult and adolescent clinical and forensic assessments. She completed her degree in psychology at Florida Atlantic University; and completed her doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a specialization in Forensic assessment at Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida. Evaluations are offered in the following areas: adult and juvenile competency to proceed, parental fitness, developmental/ disability assessments, criminal responsibility, risk assessments, and substance abuse. Dr. Mormile also provides consultation in civil, criminal, and family law case; expert witness testimony; and psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children.
Gillian O’Shea Brown LCSW-C
Gillian O’Shea Brown LCSW-C is a Licensed Psychotherapist. She provides therapy and counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families at PsychExperts and Associates Inc. Gillian O’Shea Brown completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University College Cork, Ireland. During this time, Ms O’Shea Brown has authored a number of peer reviewed academic journals which were published by University College Cork, in the areas of social policy and advocacy. Ms O’Shea Brown has a background in Clinical Care Management at the University of Maryland. She is currently undertaking EMDR certification at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York. Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is utilized to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories in the context of psychotherapy. Hyun Joo (Sabina) Yi, M.A.
Ms. Yi is a registered psychology Associate who provide counseling for Relational issues and Mood disorders. She completed her Master’s degree in psychology at Argosy University – SFBA, Point Richmond, CA. Ms. Yi speaks fluent Korean and has extensive training in psychodynamic therapy. She is also training in Neuropsychological assessment. Other training includes treatment for Anger Management, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Codependency, Depression, Behavioral Issues, and Family Conflict.
Carla Rhodes, PsyD.
Dr. Rhodes is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who graduated from George Washington University with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). She also holds a Master’s degree in General Psychology. Dr. Rhodes comes with a wealth of experience in individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment, DSM-5 diagnosis, diagnostic interviewing, behavior modification training, group facilitation, case management, life skills training, teaching, and outreach services. She has experience working with a number of populations including at-risk youth, adults and adolescents with mental illness, adults with intellectual disabilities and cognitive impairment, substance use disorders, and HIV/AIDS.
Marissa Kaplan, PsyD
Dr. Kaplan is a licensed psychologist who specializes psychoeducational assessment, adult forensic assessment, child and adult psychotherapy, and group therapy. She graduated from Harvard University with a Master’s Degree in Education, with a specialization in Childhood Risk and Prevention; and subsequently completed her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 at Loyola University Maryland. Dr. Kaplan specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy; and has specialized training in providing therapy with the chronically mentally ill populations.
Kristen Simpson, MS
Ms. Simpson is a registered Psychology Associate who has been providing psychotherapy for over 8 years. She completed her Master’s Degree at Madonna University in Michigan. Ms. Simpson has worked with a variety of individuals; specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Her formal training was in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory, and she later completed a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. This allows for eclectic technique to be able to tailor the therapy to what best suits your individual needs.
